equations is a website where people can share and learn information based on numbers. In equations, users can only explore with numbers. Every post in equations holds a brand-new perspective of numbers that might blow your mind! Pick a number and see what that means to others around the world.

Numbers are simple but effective, it plays a significant role in communication.

Unlike language narratives, numbers are hard to misinterpret. It is an intuitive language system that communicates with people around the world despite the language barrier. Numbers are straightforward, however, the meanings of numbers change with their units. The same number could carry entirely different information depending on its setting. Seeing numbers as a universal vessel of experiences, perspectives, and information carries out the fundamentals of equations. The environment around us shapes who we are but also traps us in a limited cognition. Equations is the possibility that we can perceive the world with other people’s eyes through numbers.

The entire manual has been designed with bold colors and creative typography to capture the attention of parents who may hold stereotypes about medical experiences for children. The aim is to alleviate anxiety and confusion. Typically, medical instructions and manuals are presented in large paragraphs and with technical jargon. However, in reality, readers often encounter these manuals at clinics, hospitals, and vaccine registration centers, where they may have to care for their children. This means that lengthy and complicated content may cause readers to lose interest or give up. To address this issue, we have translated professional jargon into simple and easy-to-understand language. Additionally, we have replaced some technical terms with visual aids. As a result, parents can obtain the necessary information in a shorter amount of time, making it easier for them to take care of their children.
The US approved COVID-19 vaccinations for young children, a significant development in global efforts to prevent the epidemic. Some parents are hesitant due to negative experiences, endangering their children. I aim to communicate the importance of vaccination and proper technique to prevent more children from being at risk and curb the spread of the epidemic.

Root.01

For young generation minorities who can not speak their language, it’s hard to practice their culture-related element without insecurity and shamaness.

Root is a project for people like me to cure their lostness. It's also a journey to find our own identity.
This project is been divided into three phases.

Root.01 is about myself. I’m teaching myself about my culture in a comfortable way and practicing my skills.

Root.02 is to meet with more people who have the same experience. Our goal is to develop a sustainable methodology for the young generation minority to practice and learn their own culture.

Root.03 is the final stage after a developed theory of how to make “root” more accessible for people with limited knowledge about their culture. We can build a community base on these directions. Our community can be in person or online for people to practice and share their non-violence culture and identity-seeking.

Falling

Falling is reflecting that human right is been trampled and people are dying. It’s reminding the public to be less ignorant.

This is my personal practice project that reflects social issues.
I think it’s the artists' responsibility to make their voices heard by using their skills.
